NB Architekt™ pays tribute to typefaces used on architectural construction plans during the ‘Letraset’ era.
The typeface is a classic modern monoline monospace which was originally designed by S. Gandl in 2002 and named ‘NB55RMS™’. NB55RMS™ was globally released with Neubau’s ‘Neubau Welt’ publication in 2005.
In 2015 ‘NB55RMS™’ was entirely revised, recoded and released in OpenType-Std format as NB Architekt™ together with the new NB Architekt Neue™ as ‘cleaner’ alternate version.

Broadcast Licenses
If you plan to use Neubau fonts in broadcasting, video or film, you will need to acquire a Broadcasting License. Broadcast and film usage refers to the use of the font software in titling, credits or other text for any onscreen broadcast via television, video or motion picture.
The Broadcasting Licence is an annual, renewable license extension of the basic Print & Web Licence, and needs to be acquired prior to first use.
